Deborah Bates has worked as a family lawyer for over 30 years and has worked in the legal sector since 1982. She is experienced in all aspects of Divorce, Separation, Private Child Law, Domestic Violence Injunctions and has a particular interest in Co-Habiting Couples and the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA) claims.

Deborah is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, a title that she set her sights on when she very first entered the legal profession.

Away from the office, Deborah is a keen walker and enjoys yoga. She also helps out at Sheffield Cathedral’s Archer Project, a charity that supports homeless people to achieve a better life.
