Pennine Law was formed in 2008 by the merger of Dransfield Hodgkinson & Lofthouse of Penistone Sheffield, established in 1830 and William Hoyland Solicitors of Hoyland Barnsley, established in 2000.
The partnership of Pennine Law was incorporated on the 1st January 2014 to become Pennine Law Limited. The retiring Partners accepted Directorships in the new company.
William Hoyland, Managing Director explains:

The merger will enable us to call on a broader range of specialist knowledge from both businesses, providing even better service to clients in the areas we operate. In the coming months, the practice has exciting plans to expand. The installation of the latest technology and software will enable us to provide the best possible service to our clients quickly efficiently and economically.”
Pennine Law has the strapline ‘Talk to us first…’, which arises from experience of dealing with legal problems which can very often be avoided if only time was taken to discuss potential problems before they become entwined in legal disputes with consequential costs implications. To this end the practice will maintain a high street presence continuing it’s policy of offering an initial free advice service to all its clients”
